It’s the budget member of the lineup, built for high-volume drafts and rapid iteration.

Mini sits at the bottom of the Seedance 2.0 price ladder, below Seedance 2.0 and its Fast variant. It keeps the family’s multimodal approach — text-to-video, image-to-video, and reference-driven generation with native audio — but optimizes for speed and cost per clip rather than maximum fidelity.

ByteDance charges per second of generated video. Early reports put Seedance 2.0 Mini at roughly $0.073 per second — a touch under Seedance 2.0 Fast and about a quarter cheaper than the standard tier’s rate.
